Attorney James (Jim) Ickes is an experienced attorney concentrating his practice in the areas of information security and privacy and civil litigation. In addition to holding a HCISPP (Health Care Information Security & Privacy Practitioner), Attorney Ickes has over 20 years of litigation experience in federal and state courts in the areas of business, real estate, and family law.
Attorney Ickes is a founding Member of ICKES\HOLT and is committed to the principle that the practice of law, at its core, is about solving problems. Attorney Ickes is driven to provide pragmatic, timely, and well-articulated solutions to the many challenges confronting his clients.
Attorney Ickes graduated from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2000 and summa cum laude from Ohio University in Finance in 1997. Attorney Ickes is a former president of the Portage County Bar Association and a former adjunct professor at Hiram College where he taught business law. Attorney Ickes is also a former recipient of Community Legal Aid’s Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award.
Attorney Ickes is a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio. Attorney Ickes is a proud husband and father of three and is actively involved in many civic activities in his hometown of Hudson.
